Atmospheric Paintings Inspired by Light, Hope and Wonder.
Inviting reflection and stillness through colour and atmosphere
Returning to painting later in life became more than a rediscovery of my artistic voice. It became a quiet path toward healing and wholeness—a reminder that creativity can restore what life once interrupted.
Working from my home studio in Abingdon-on-Thames, I create atmospheric paintings in oil, acrylic and cold wax that explore the interplay of colour, light and emotion.
Each painting develops intuitively, allowing layers, textures and subtle shifts of colour to emerge over time. Rather than telling a fixed story, my work invites you to pause, reflect, and discover your own connection within the painting.
What Collectors Are Saying
“Leilani’s painting immediately drew me in through its colour. The tones feel full of joy, compassion, nurture and space. As someone who works deeply with colour, I see these qualities reflected in the painting—it speaks to everything I understand about it.”

Art is Deeply Personal
The right painting can truly transform your space. Whether you're drawn to something bold and vibrant or quiet and serene, my work is created to speak to you — not just visually, but emotionally.
Exhibitions & Recognition
Leilani's work has been exhibited internationally, including her first solo exhibition at the Lionel Wendt Gallery in Sri Lanka and a solo exhibition at Kursana in Celle, Germany.
More recently, she has exhibited across the UK, including Oxfordshire Artweeks, West Ox Arts and The Abingdon Artists, where she served as co-chair for three years. Her work has also been recognised through an invitation to exhibit at Langford Arts Festival and inclusion on the Debra Hart Curated Artists shortlist.
Original paintings have the power to transform a room, creating an atmosphere of warmth, reflection and calm. Whether displayed in a living space, hallway or study, each piece is created to bring lasting beauty and quiet connection to your home.
Bring Light and Beauty into Your Space
"I love the colours and the way they blend. The softness and light make the flower feel as though it's gently emerging from the canvas. It captures all 'my' colours."
