Awakening Series  -  Three Paintings of Light and Hope

The Awakening Series is a group of three paintings about the return of light and hope. I made each painting gradually, adding colour and texture without deciding in advance exactly how it would look.

The paintings show three different moments: something beginning to rise, light returning and light slowly unfolding. They reflect my faith, although each person may see something different in them.
